All the students who want to avail Free Admission into H.S. 1st Year / H.S. 2nd Year / B.Com - 1st / 3rd / 5th Semester for the Academic Session 2022-2023 under Fee Waiver Scheme of the Govt. of Assam are hereby informed that they will be granted Free Admission only on fulfillment of the following requirements and eligibility criteria:

  • Scheme of Free Admission (Fee Waiver) is applicable only for Provincialized & Govt. colleges.


  • Students seeking Free Admission should produce recent and valid Income Certificate, duly certified by the Revenue Circle Officer of concerned District / Revenue Circle, alongwith the Admission Form.


  • Applicants seeking Free Admission should also plant a sapling at his/her home, get the incident photographed and submit the same during New admission.


  • Students should nurse the sapling and get it photographed (as a proof of evidence) every time he/she seeks Free Admission in subsequent years. Scrutiny Committee for Free Admission shall examine growth of the plant and other relevant documents and decide about the eligibility.


  • Students must attain a minimum of 75% attendance in order to avail the benefits of Free Admission in subsequent years without any back / grace mark in any of earlier Semester(s) / Classes.


  • If either of the parents (mother or father) of the student is working in the State Govt. / Central Govt. / Semi Govt. / State or Central Govt. undertakings, such students shall not be eligible under this Scheme. Hence, students seeking Free Admission should declare in writing that neither of their parents is an employee of the State Govt. / Central Govt. / Semi Govt. / State or Central Govt. Department or its undertaking. If at any point of time such declaration is found to be false, Free Admission shall be cancelled and fee shall be realized from such students and disciplinary action will be initiated against him/her.   • In addition to all the documents mentioned above, applicants seeking Free Admission must generate DHE Unique ID (link given below) and submit the same alongwith the Admission Form.


  • Decision of the Scrutiny Committee shall be final and binding.
