About Us

Sibsagar Commerce College Central Library was established in 1969. Library was shifted 2006 where it is currently located in the ground floor of the building housing Department of Computer Applications. The library houses a rich collection of books covering curricular topics and various other subjects and state literature. Currently college has 27,500+ printed books, textbook and reference, 5 newspapers, 11 printed journals, 3 magazines. Library subscribes to Nlist, catering 6000+ e-journals and 19000+ e-books to its users.

Circulation, cataloguing of the Central Library is automated through web-based KOHA ILMS software. Membership is extended to staff and students of the college, managed through integrated college identity cum library card which are barcoded.
