The NSS Unit of SCC conducted a lecture programme on "Bujurgon ki Baat Desh ke sath" related to Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsaov commemorating 75th years of Independence of India. Renowned social activist, writer and educationist Suresh Saikia, attending the programme as chief guest, delivered a valuable lecture to motivate the students with various issues of career prospects mind determination and opportunities.

A poster competition on "Glorious History of India" was also orgainsed.
