Sibsagar Commerce College successfully hosted the International Conference on “India’s North East and South East Asia Connectivity with Special Reference to the Kingdom of Thailand” on 1st February 2026. The event was graced by international delegates from Thailand, Dr. Thanapat Choompolsil and Mr. Passakorn Domhom, who served as resource persons. On this occasion, the College signed an MoU with the United Tai People Foundation, Thailand, to promote future academic and cultural exchange initiatives. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Jyoti Prasad Saikia, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of JB University, Jorhat.
