An Interactive Session was organized by the Department of English in collaboration with the IQAC of Sibsagar Commerce College on 09/02/2026. The college had the privilege of hosting distinguished international guests from Hungary—Mr. Daniel Levente Pál, a world-renowned poet, lyricist, filmmaker, and director, along with his wife, Mrs. Dorah Gráph, a celebrated novelist. The session was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Rajiv Baruah, an eminent poet and former Director of Gauhati Doordarshan. The programme provided a vibrant platform for meaningful interaction between the guests, teachers, and students. The distinguished speakers shared their experiences, creative journeys, and perspectives on literature, art, and filmmaking. The session also offered valuable insights into the culture, heritage, education system, and literary traditions of Hungary, making it an intellectually enriching experience for all present.
