Har Ghar Tiranga and Partition Horrors Remembrance Day 2026

On the eve of India’s 80th Independence Day, and as per the direction of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam, Sibsagar Commerce College organised “Har Ghar Tiranga and Partition Horrors Remembrance Day – 2026”. As part of the programme, a Tiranga craft-making competition was organised among the students of the college.In the competition, Sarfinaz Rohman Bora (B.A. 7th Semester) secured 1st position, Sevi Akhtar Hussain (B.Com. 7th Semester) secured 2nd position, and Nasrin Ara Ahmed (B.Com 5th Semester) secured 3rd position, respectively.
To honour the memories and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the students and faculty members joined together in singing “Vande Mataram” and expressed their heartfelt wishes for a peaceful, prosperous, and united India.
